Halfway there!!!
Okay, so I didn't realize how dark the picture is until I threw it up on the computer! I'm attempting to show off how much my tummy is sticking out...in celebration of being halfway through the pregnancy! Yay! I can't believe that we're halfway there... I am treasuring every private moment with Travis, every minute that I sleep in, and every spontaneous thing we do! I know that, in about 4.5 months, we are going to be caught in a swirl of exhaustion, crying, babysitters--the works! I think the baby is probably a lot easier to deal with while it's in my tummy! :) In further celebration of being halfway done with the pregnancy, Travis and I are going out to dinner tonight. Yay, it's so exciting to be halfway there!

OOHHHHHHHHHHH MY GOODNESS THIS IS SO ADORABLE! I love it! I can't beleive you have a tummy! I am so excited and happy for you.
I am going to be sooo pissed if you are one of those people who is all tummy. You better get atleast a double chin, if not a triple, ginormous booty, huge thighs, etc . . . By the way, I think my tummy is about the same size as yours right now. Yikes!
Hey Ruth, with a friend like you, who needs enemies? Haha! Just kidding. I just thought I'd leave a response pointing out the difference between your Feb 28 and Feb 29 comments. Good day bad day? I'm prone to those to, so I forgive you. But, just so you know, now I'm going to be REALLY careful to not get fat, just to spite you! HAHA! Here, let's make a pact to eat potato chips and get fat together! Wasn't that the original plan?
Jennifer, thanks for taking care of your blog so that I can now make my anonymous comments; I'm having a hoot of a time reading what you and R are saying to each other: I haven't talked with her since she got back from her weekend jaunt.
I just got back from Bristol's town meeting. While I hope you do well where you are I can't help but think how you could participate in such New England things if you were back here.
I'm beholden to you. And thanks for adjusting the blog. Get your parents and brothers to write in, too, how about Mesa?
Oops, forgot to sign 'RB' to my anonymous blog.

Oh, this is fun! I'm so glad that I changed the settings so that I can get anonymous comments! I'm hoping with the new setting I'll get some comments from my parents. It's hopeless to ever expect comments from the brothers...
You know, RB, I have been thinking about getting involved with "town meeting" sort of stuff out here... there's a women's leadership workshop that coaches young women on how to get involved with local politics that I want to participate in. Next I'll be running for president! Actually, I'm just going to take over the USA in a military coup and crown myself dictator. You'll all be better off with my liberal socialist ideas anyway (and if you disagree it won't matter! Ah, the bonuses of dictatorship). Haha! Ruth, you know all about my political aspirations.
Hey, Ruth, New York sounds like it was fabulous but I need more details!
Good to be in touch with you both!
Hey my second comment was not supposed to be mean! In my experience getting huge is just part of the fun of being pregnant. And I will be jealous if you are all tummy, but I don't really think that has anything to do with how much weight you gain, just how your body carries the baby. Also, I know others are encouraging you to really watch your weight so I have to stand up for the other side! Eat! Indulge! Stick to the original plan. I held up my end of the deal.
No matter what you will be beautiful and have beautiful bebe!
Aw, nice comment Ruth! But, I expected some response to my political aspirations. By the way, I think that my butt is a little bit bigger. I have a pair of (pre-pregnancy) pants that I could always slide off and on, and now I really have to wiggle to slide them on! Soon I think I might have to unbutton them! Lately I've had a thing for cookies and icecream. Travis doesn't help any...he's very happy to indulge me. And he hasn't gained ANY sympathy weight!!! Jerk. I've been wondering, did Brad gain any wait while you were preggers?
Like Ruth said! Gain the weight! In my child development class, we talked about how so many calories are needed to make the baby's brain. Like if you gain 10 pounds in your butt, and then limit your weight gain, you'll never get those extra calories that the brain needed!
Wow, I am getting really worked up and confused. Hey, enjoy the ice cream. Yum Yum!

Okay, enjoying ice cream is something I can do! It's all in the name of the baby's brain... :)
Hooray for Ben and Jerry's!
