We kicked off the weekend by visiting with baby Lilly again!
Travis was kinda nervous... it's funny how men stay timid with babies that aren't their own! I did catch him smiling at her and eventually relaxing, though! :)
Saturday morning was Sophia's last pre-recital ballet practice. The girls were excited to try on their costumes! It was a pretty intense practice... it will be interesting to see how the recital goes on Saturday!
We raced to the annual "Breakfast on the Farm" event after ballet, and arrived just in time to catch breakfast (eggs, pancakes, strawberries and milk). After breakfast we grabbed some ice cream and then went to check out all the animals and barns.
Piglets are SOOOO cute!
Saying hello to some of the draft/draught horses.
Sophia found a kid's Case tractor, just like the big ones that daddy makes! She begged for it, but we're learning to say "no" :)
Breakfast on the Farm took place at a farm conveniently close to the horse stable, so of course we had a little visit with Margie! In the above pic horse lovers will notice that Margie is trotting, which is Sophia's new favorite thing. (Which is crazy, because Margie does NOT have a nice, Western jog... her trot is BOUNCY!) Sophia hangs onto the horn and yells "faster! Faster!" I think she gets it from her dad's side! "Barrel racing." Sophia likes us to weave Margie around the barrels while she yells "yee-haw."
Finally some quiet time on Sunday! Sophia is getting more and more maternal as we get ready for baby.
